CSIR NET Eligibility Test is conducted in 3 Parts.

Part A :

MCQ type Questions
Common Paper for All Candidates
Part A is to measure Basic key skills of General Science, Quantitative Reasoning & Analysis and Research Aptitude
There is negative Marking of 0.50 Marks for each wrong answer.
You have to Attempt 15 questions out of 20.
Each question is of 2 marks.

Part B:

MCQ type Questions
You have to Attempt 35 questions out of 50.
There is negative Marking of 0.75 Marks for each wrong answer.
You have to clear all the Basic Chemical Science fundamentals to score more.
Each question is of 2 marks.

Part C:

You have to Attempt 25 questions out of 75.
There is no negative Marking.
Difficulty level is really hard.
Questions are based on scientific knowledge to arrive at the solution to the given scientific problem.
Each question is of 4 marks.
