SSC (Staff selection commission) is an Indian Government organization, which works for Recruiting staff for Ministries & Departments of Indian Government. There are different types of posts in SSC.

Candidates can apply for SSC LDC & SSC DEO posts after 10+2. The posts of SSC CHSL 2016 are –

1. Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant
   
2. Data Entry Operator
   
3. Lower Division Clerk

SSC CHSL Exam Eligibility Criteria:

Education:

Candidate should have passed class XII or intermediate exam or equivalent from a state or central recognized institute.

Age:

Candidate’s age must be between 18-27 years.

Age relaxation is also provided to candidates belonging to reserved category.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2016:

Part I

There are 4 sections in SSC CHSL Exam

1. General Intelligence

2. English Language

3. Quantitative Aptitude

4. General Awareness.

• Time duration of SSC CHSL Exam is 2 hours or 120 minutes.
   
• The Paper will consist of objective type (multiple choice questions) only.
   
• There will be negative marking of ¼ marks for each wrong answer.
   
• There are 50 questions in each section.

Part II

Candidates who qualify SSC CHSL Part I, second round is conducted for them.

• Typing Test is for Lower division clerk

• Skill test for Data Entry operator.
