IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection)

- IBPS was started in 1975 as Personnel Selection Services (PSS).
- IBPS turned as self employed legal in 1984.

- IBPS conducted a CWE (common written Exam)in 2011 for Officers & Clerks in Indian Banks. Candidates who want to apply for Public Sector Bank & Regional Rural Banks have to apply for CWE is compulsary.

1. IBPS PO/MT - Here PO/MT stands for Probationary Officer/Management Trainee

iv) MARKETING Officer-                             MBA(Marketing) or PGDBA/PGDBM
v) HR Officer-                                             PG in HR/ Social work
vi) Rajbhasha Adhikari-                               PG in Hindi or Sanskrit

FOR SCALE II
i) IT Officer-                                 BE or PG or Graduated with DOEACC B with 2 yrs experiance
ii) LAW Officer-                           LLB with 2 yrs exp.
iii) Chartered Accountant-            Passes CA Finals
iv) Manager Credit/Finance Executive- Graduated with CFA/ICWA/MBA/PGDBM with2 yrs exp.

IBPS Exam Syllabus -

 (NOTE- For each wrong answer there will be a deduction of 0.25 Marks)

 IBPS RRB Exam Syllabus

Officer Assistant Mutipurpose/ officer Scale I/ Officer Scale II(General banking officer)/ Officer Scale III - you will have 2 hours to solve the paper. In this exam you have to answer 200 questions. 40 questions of each category. there will be 5 categories in the Exam which are as followed
1 Reasoning                                       50 marks
2 Quantitive Aptitude                           50 marks
3 General awareness                          40 marks
4 Hindi/English                                   40 marks
5 Computer knowledge                       20 marks

Officer scale II(Specialist Cadre) - in this exam there will will be 240 questions & time to solve them is 2 hours & 30 minutes. In each part there will be 40 questions.

IBPS SO Syllabus

IN this exam, you will have 2 hours time. There will be 4 sections in this exam, 3 sections are same for all categories & 1 section is different. The same sections are given here & marks are given with them-

IBPS PO Paper Pattern 2016

There will be an online exam process for IBPS PO exams. In which all questions will be in Objective type pattern. There will be sectional cutoffs for both exams of PO (Preliminary/Mains). The Preliminary Paper will be of ! hour & the mains Paper will be of 2 hours.
IBPS PO PRELIMINARY EXAM- there will be 100 questions of-
1. English Language
2. Quantitive Aptitude
3. Reasoning Ability
