IBPS Clerk Recruitment Exam Syllabus 2016

There are 5 sections in IBPS clerk Syllabus

3. Quantitative Aptitude
4. Computer Awareness
5. General Knowledge

To crack IBPS Clerk Exam, you have to prepare for All the 5 sections.

IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam –

• This Exam is of 100 Marks.
• Time duration is 1 hour.

IBPS Clerk Best Study Plan 2016 

English -

You have to pay special attention to English Section. You cannot take English Section easy.

Passage is the difficult t Part of English. Practice this Section very much.

Focus on – Synonyms - Antonyms, Sentence rearrangement questions, passage completion, the topic rearrangement of passage, spelling mistakes, One Word Substitution, Spotting Error Questions etc.

Reasoning-

Reasoning is the Easiest section to solve in Clerk Exam. You just have to focus on Learning Short tricks to solve Questions Quickly.

You can get full marks in Reasoning section, just practice Previous Year Question Papers to get a good command on Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude Section.

Reasoning Easy topics - Placements and Puzzles, Coding and De-coding, Syllogisms or Deductive Reasoning, Data Sufficiency, Blood Relation, Venn Diagrams.

 

Quantitative Aptitude  -

Quantitative Aptitude Section can take your more time if you have not practiced well for it.

Topics to focus on - Ratio and Proportion, Cube & Cube roots, Percentages, Averages, SI & CI, Profit and Loss, Time, Speed and distance, Time and Work, Data Interpretation.

General Awareness - 

To cover this Section is not so easy. Because you have to keep yourself updates with all the latest news & Current Affairs. 

With this in This Section you will have to face the questions based on general Knowledge, Currency, Books & Their Authors, History of Banking, International Economy etc.

Computer Awareness - 

This Section is easy if you have enough knowledge of Computer Shortcuts & Full forms.

Basic level Questions are asked in Computer section. So just Read the Basics.

 

So basically You have to focus on Accuracy of your answer.
